The Ocean Observing and Modeling Group is the research lab of Dr. Ruoying “Roy” He, the Goodnight Innovation Distinguished Professor of Oceanography at NC State University. His research expertise spans ocean circulation dynamics, air-sea interactions, and physical-biogeochemical processes in the marine environment.
The Ocean Observing and Modeling Group is a diverse team of dedicated scientists and educators committed to advancing knowledge in oceanography. Our members bring together expertise in marine science, physics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and coastal ecosystem research.
