The Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science (KIETS) at NC State University and the NC State Coastal Resilience and Sustainability Initiative have chosen Dr. Ruoying He and Ms. Amanda Mueller to lead the development of the KIETS Climate Leaders Program. Dr. He will be the Senior Faculty Fellow and Ms. Mueller will serve as program manager for the KIETS Climate Leaders Program.
The newly formed KIETS Climate Leaders Program will work to reduce or reverse the harmful effects of climate change, which is already adversely impacting North Carolina and the entire U. S. Atlantic coast. NC State faculty and students will collaborate to find solutions and opportunities, as well as develop the next generation of climate advocates.
